Marilyn Monroe
The actress was always adorned and appreciated for glamour and sophisticated she portrayed onscreen and maintained offscreen. She gained instant fame and recognition as the sex symbol of Hollywood. In 1962, she was found dead in her Los Angeles apartment. Monroe was 36 years of age at the time of death. She died of pill overdose, but no one could figure out the reason behind committing suicide.
Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain was a popular singer-musician of 80’s. He was found dead in his home in Seattle on April 8, 1994. Cobain shot himself in the head and committed suicide. He was just 27 years old at the time of death, and at the peak of his career.
Lucy Gordon
Lucy Gordon was a British actress, who portrayed the character of reporter Jennifer Dugan in the world famous Hollywood series Spiderman 3. She committed suicide in her Paris flat, just two days before her 29th birthday. She hanged herself to death, after having a tiff with her boyfriend, Almeras. Reportedly the couple shared the same apartment and Almeras was home sleeping, when this incident took place. He didn’t know until morning about the suicide.
Andrew Koenig
Andrew Koenig was best known for playing the character of “Boner” in “Growing Pains”. It is one of the most favorite kids sitcom hit. He got ultimate fame and recognition for his character of “The Joker” in a “Batman” series, “The Dark Knight”. On February, 2010, Koenig was found dead in Vancouver, where he went to see the Olympics. He was found hanging from a tree in Stanley Park, after 10 days of disappearance.
Jonathan Brandis
Jonathan Brandis began his film career at age 5. He rose to fame with his role in Steven Spielberg’s television show, “SeaQuest”. He became the teen idol, but his career was short-lived. The actor seemed depressed and upset about his drowning career, and ultimately took his life by hanging himself on 11th November 2003.
Brad Delp
An American musician and lead vocalist of Boston, Brad Delp experienced a breakthrough in his career during the 1970s and 1980s. Boston sold over 31 million copies in the United States alone. On March 9, 2007, Brad Delp was found dead by his fiancée in his home in Atkinson, New Hampshire. It was investigated later that he died due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Before committing suicide, he left some letters to all his family members showing his love and considerations to all.
Charles Rocket
Charles Rocket was a famous American film and television actor. He is well known for his role in the film, “Dumb and Dumber”. Rocket’s death was not highlighted in the media. On October 7, 2005, he was found dead in a field near his Connecticut home with a slit throat. Initially, it was assumed to be a murder, but later the state medical examiner ruled it out as a suicide. He was cremated thereafter.
Robert Enke
German football goalkeeper, Robert Enke played in several European countries. At the time of his death, he was one of the most leading contenders for 2010 World Cup. On November 10, 2009, Enke laid himself in front of a regional express train and committed suicide. Police found a suicide note, which was not publicized. His wife revealed Robert was suffering from acute depression and was being treated by a psychiatrist.
Jason Altom
Jason Altom was a highly qualified Ph.D. student at Harvard University. He was involved in the research group of Nobel laureate. He committed suicide in 1998 by taking potassium cyanide. He left a suicide note blaming his research for being abusive and irrational. It has been said that the pressure of completing his molecule study before the beginning of his academic made his irrational and forced him to commit suicide eventually.
