Father does that to his own daughter

A man allegedly raped his nine-year-old daughter at Salena VDC-3 in the district.

District Police Office in Baitadi on Sunday arrested Jitram Dayal on the rape charge. Security personnel nabbed Jitram after his brother Lal Dayal lodged a complaint with police accusing that the former rapped his own daughter on August 12. Police said a complaint has been lodged saying that the perpetrator raped his daughter while she was working in kitchen. Uprety said they arrested the accused and a probe is under way.

The victim was taken to the District Hospital for medical test. She was later handed over to her relatives following the health check-up. Jitram, at his mid-thirties, is a father of four children. According to his relatives, he along with his family had been to India for work and returned home after his wife eloped.
