Students at St Andrews University took part in a foam fight in St. Salvator's Quad over the weekend as part of the Raisin Day celebrations. But what IS Raisin Day, we hear you ask? Well, it actually used to be a weekend celebrating the, ahem, relationship between first year students and their academic parents.
Traditionally, first years did used to give their "parents" a sack of raisins, now they just cover them in foam..
