Guinness World Records' Top Halloween Awards





The only thing that might be better than holding a bag stuffed with Halloween candy is holding a Guinness World Record. In honor of October 31, the organization has compiled a list of Halloween-themed record holders, many of which appear in its new book, Guinness World Records 2014. Like Halloween, some are scary, some are spooky, some are fun and some are sweet.

But, unlike on Halloween, there are no tricks here: All these records are verified as authentic.


Maria Jose Cristerna: Most Body Modifications And Most Tattooed Woman 




Maria Jose Cristerna, the famed "Vampire Lady of Mexico," holds the world record for Most Body Modifications by a Female with 49. 



Largest Butterscotch Candy 



The Largest Butterscotch Candy was made at the Nidar factory in Trondheim, Norway on August 12,1997. It weighed 3,527 lbs and measured 5.02 feet x 5.02 feet x 17.7 inches. It was a scaled-up version of the candy being held. 



Most People Wearing Costume Masks 



The world record for Most People Wearing Costume Masks is 27,080. It was set May 10, 2011, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. 



Largest Pumpkin Pie



The Largest Pumpkin Pie was made by New Bremen Giant Pumpkin Growers in Ohio on October 8, 2005. It weighed 2,020 lbs and measured 12 feet, 1 inch long. 



Heaviest Pumpkin



The heaviest pumpkin ever weighed was the 2009-pounder presented by Ron Wallace at the New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off in Topsfield, Massachusetts, USA, on September 28, 2012.
